This past June, the Shadeland Fire Department welcomed its newest member to the fleet, a 2020 Kenworth Tanker otherwise known as T304. The new T304 replaces our old 1992 tanker that has served the community for almost 30 years. T304 hauls approx. 3500 gallons of water and is a welcome addition to our fleet. The fire department would like to thank the Shadeland Town Council for upgrading our equipment so that we are better equipped to effectively provide fire protection for Union Township and the surrounding communities.
